The interactive installation 'Plantproject' is part of several Tropistic expositions. Plants are able to react via an EEG and a modular synthesizer audibly at stimuli inflicted by visitors.

Shadow Harp

Shadow Harp
Interactive installation in The Old Church (de Oude Kerk) in Amsterdam as part of the Tropistic Manifestation in 1994. A powerful blue laser drew a web of light above the ground. When a ray was interrupted, a channel of a 16 track music composition was triggered. So one could walk trough the grid of beams, perhaps unaware of the consequences, or play it as a giant instrument.

Professor Van Giffen
3D stereoscopic film made for the ‘Professor van Giffen’ exhibition in the Groninger Museum. The original was presented by means of polarized projection. On this site it is presented in the anaglyph system (red cyan glasses needed). Made together with Tim Dokter en Jeroen Zijlstra.

Watermirror

Watermirror
Together with Bethany de Forest, the creation of the light-artwork ‘Watermirror’, a mechanic mirror-projection animation within the ‘Heimwee’ project in Haarlem. An installation of an artificial sunset/sunrise above a waving see projected on a building along the river ‘Spaarne’.
